1.     Please vote! Please VOTE! PLEASE VOTE! If you are getting this email you have successfully renewed or joined. HOWEVER, did you vote? The 2010/2011 Elections end tomorrow! Open positions will include US Affairs Chair, Public Information Chair Communications Chair and Vice President. Please vote.

 

2.     Membership Renewal has started. If you got this email directly from me (MISHA SWANSON) you are a member in good standing. If you got this message from your Chapter Lead, you are not a Continental member or have not yet renewed your membership.  You will need your member ID and email address. Forgot your member ID? 3.     Award nominations for our annual awards that are given out at the May Conference are available. Chapter Achievement/Best Chapter in the Region Award will be accepted through February 27th. The website homepage now has descriptions and links. The Awards Committee is also looking for help. For more information and/or questions contact awards@na-ygn.org.

4.     Registration is now open for the 2011 NA-YGN Professional Development Conference!  The 2011 NA-YGN PD Conference will be held from May 8 – 10, 2011 in Washington, DC.  The theme for this year’s workshop is “Redefining Diversity: Uncovering a World of Opportunities in Old Technology.” Register here by April 18, 2011 to get the lower rate.  Make your hotel reservation by April 25th to get the special room rate.
