POSTER CONTEST TIME!

It’s back-to-school for the kids and so time for your local chapter to encourage nuclear knowledge in the younger set.  And what better way to do that than breaking out the crayons to submit a poster for the annual NA-YGN poster contest?!?!

As always, judging will be completed by our membership attending the ANS meeting in November and more details can be found on our website http://www.na-ygn.org/publicinfo/leftdocs/2008%20NA-YGN%20Poster%20Contest.pdf

World Nuclear University!

Imagine a summer overseas building an international network of nuclear collegues….That opportunity could be yours with the World Nuclear University.  This unique summer program is designed for young professionals (and students) to globalize the nuclear field and thinking about the big picture.

Application details at  http://www.world-nuclear-university.org/html/summer_institute/index.htm

NA-YGN Encouraging Smart Voting!

NA-YGN has been in contact with the campaigns of both Barack Obama and John McCain to discuss energy needs and the future of nuclear.  The Obama call went well (September 23) and the transcript are available at http://www.na-ygn.org/publicinfo/leftdocs/Obama%20Transcript.pdf

Due to the state of financial markets, the McCain call has been delayed for a date TBD, please stay tuned for details!
