2009 Professional Development Workshop-Registration OPEN!

 

Title: "Investing in Our Future with Nuclear"

Description:  The focus of the conference will be understanding the true costs of nuclear projects and how these costs factor into decision making.

 

Timeline:  May 16-19, 2009

Location: Washington DC

 

The preliminary agenda includes sessions on public advocacy, financing energy, communications, global finance and more.

On June 26 at 12:00 (noon-EST), Alex Flint, NEI's Senior Vice President of  Governmental Affairs,  will lead a discussion on "Nuclear Energy in the Political Arena".  The discussion will include his insights on the political perspective of nuclear power in Washington DC, public policy issues Mr. Flint and his team face, and his thoughts on where the industry is headed with the Obama Administration and a Democratic congress.
