NA-YGN Announcements:

1. Registration is Now Open –The 2012 North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NA-YGN) annual workshop will be held in conjunction with the International Youth in Nuclear Congress (IYNC) bi-annual meeting August 5-11 in Charlotte, N.C. Click here to see a draft agenda and register for the meeting.

2. Go Nuke is looking for writers for the 2012 Spring Edition. Article ideas could include events and projects taken by your chapter- How NA-YGN has helped reinforce your career- etc… If you are interested in writing for Go Nuke, please respond to communications@na-ygn.org.

2. Vote in the 2012 Elections - Elections will close tomorrow, Friday, March 30, 2012. Click here to vote: http://www.na-ygn.org/newelection/.

3. NA-YGN is looking for candidates to fill the Northeast Regional Lead position opening up in May.  Previous experience in local chapter leadership is highly recommended for this position.  Candidates should send a resume and a short statement describing why they want the position to usa@na-ygn.org.   

5. Registrations are now being accepted for two popular Canadian Nuclear Society courses: Nuclear 101 -Everything you wanted to know about nuclear technology and were afraid they’d ask! – April 23 and 24 – McMaster University in Hamilton, ON (near Toronto) Candu Reactor Safety Course – May 7 to May 9 – Toronto, ON.
