NEW PUBLIC INFORMATION CHAIR!
A round of applause for Ms. Sarah Leversee of GE has generously stepped in to fill out the remaining PI term. We welcome Sarah to the Core, she's looking forward to hearing from you all about participation in the poster contest and the upcoming Obama and McCain phone calls.

POSTER CONTEST TIME!
It's back-to-school for the kids and so time for your local chapter to encourage nuclear knowledge in the younger set. And what better way to do that than breaking out the crayons to submit a poster for the annual NA-YGN poster contest?!?!

NA-YGN Encouraging Smart Voting!
NA-YGN has been in contact with the campaigns of both Barack Obama and John McCain and has set up a phone call with each respective party to discuss energy needs and the future of nuclear. The first one is with the Obama campaign Tuesday September 23 at 1pm EST. The McCain call is TBD. There will be times for Q&A as well. You must register for the call (as a limited number of lines are available on a first-come-first-serve basis) but most chapter leads have already done so:
