Welcome New Core Members!
Thank You, to everyone who attended this year's NA-YGN Professional Development
Conference. It is my duty and pleasure to introduce our three new core members. Jana
Thames from Southern Company is our new Communications Chair, Chris Hearn of Bechtel is
our new US Affairs Chair and Samuel Vargas is joining us as the new Mexican Affairs Chair.
I know they will add much to this organization -please give them a warm welcome and your
thanks.

3. Representatives from each of the chapters in the Atlantic Region have been hard
at work organizing and planning this year's Regional Event. With the 2011 NA-YGN
Professional Development Conference being local to the Atlantic Region, the focus for this
year's Regional Event is networking and developing chapter strength. The attached
draft agenda provides the schedule of events for the day. Please announce this event
within your chapters, and please encourage members to Save the Date.
When: August 20, 2011 (Saturday) 9 am to 5 pm
Where: Areva Chapter -Lynchburg, VA
Note that the event will include the World Fuel Cycle Activity in the morning(played at
the 2010 NA-YGN PDC in San Francisco) and a variety of outdoor activities for the
afternoon -including Tubingdown the James River (swimwear mandatory, coolers optional).The
networking event is for NA-YGN members and alumni, as well as their families. A link to
