Volume 7, Issue 14: December 3, 2009 NA-YGN Announcements: 1. Forgot your membership ID? Did you know there was a link<http://www.na-ygn.org/members/forgot.php> to have it sent to your registered email address on the Renew Membership page on the website? This will be important when all members are reset next year in preparation for elections. 2. 2010/2011 Elections Are Just Around the Corner! Open positions will include Canadian Affairs Chair, Treasurer, Professional Development Chair and Vice President. Please send nominations to Brent Williams<mailto:williams@na-ygn.org> (Past President) for these positions. 3. More than 2,000 drawing contest entries were submitted in the 2009 11th Annual NA-YGN Drawing Contest. The drawings were voted on at the American Nuclear Society (ANS) annual conference in November. The results have been tallied, and we have reached out to the schools and parents to gain permission to publicly use the winning entries. We expect to announce the results within the next week. Thank you to all the chapters who participated in this educational opportunity. 4. Local Chapter End of Year Reports Are Coming Due! The US, Mexican and Canadian Affairs Chairs will be collecting local chapter EOY reports in January. This is your chance at an advance start on the January 15th deadline.
