1. What a long strange trip it has been...This is my last Membership Announcement, as
my reign as Communications Chair ends at the 2011 NA-YGN Professional Development
Conference. There I hand the control over to our new Communication Chair, Jana Thames.

4. Are you looking for a new opportunity within NA-YGN? Are you located in the
Midwest region? The position of Midwest Regional Lead will be coming open in August,
2011. Sean Tanton will be turning over the reins after two great years of service in this
position. If you are interested, please send your resume and a short description of why
you're interested in the position to Chris Hearn, incoming US Affairs Chair by May 13,
2011.
5. The NA-YGN Professional Development Seminar at the Canadian Nuclear Society
Conference is happening on Sunday, June 5 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. It is being held
at the Sheraton on the Falls hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Registration is free and is
open to all NA-YGN members (Canada, US and Mexico!). The theme is Nuclear Knowledge and
Leadership. The program can be viewed

several exciting presentations that will discuss industry, professional development,
