NA-YGN Announcements:
1. Please welcome our newest chapter of NA-YGN! We have two new local chapters to add
to our NA-YGN family! There is a chapter kicking off next month at DTE Energy - Fermi,
and a new chapter underway at AREVA-Richland.
2. Northeast Regional Conference - Today! August 19-20 in Worcester, MA. The workshop
theme is "Where Do We Go >From Here? Ensuring A Bright Future For Nuclear".

3. Back to School means it is Annual Drawing Contest time again! This year Roddy
Nuclear is the Power of the Future. Check out the redesigned
website<http://na-ygn.org/publicinfo/drawingcontest/2010%20-%20Roddy%2...
for rules and planning timeframes on how your chapter can present to 4th and 5th graders
on nuclear science and technology. Last year over 3,000 posters were submitted reaching
students all over North America. Help us reach out to more students this Fall before the
deadline of October 22, 2010.
4. Local Chapter Leads teleconference, September 1 from 3 - 3:30pm EST. This
teleconference is for all NA-YGN Local Chapter Leads. Agenda and call-in number will be

5. The 2010 Knowledge Transfer Survey is ready. If you want to see what

6. Conserving Tomorrow newsletter is looking for help. They are working on their next

7. Be heard! NA-YGN's Clean Energy Insight pro-nuclear advocacy website is
looking for contributors. Topics of discussion include but are not limited to nuclear
news posts, commentary on current industry events, and showcasing your NA-YGN
