"The Nuclear Option" (premiered on Tuesday, October 14th) will re-air on Sunday, October 19th at 10PM. CNBC continues to go inside the energy crisis with its next CNBC Original Production, "The Nuclear Option."
"The Nuclear Option" explores how nuclear power works, the benefits, and the challenges of this energy source. Is the nuclear option the best energy solution to pursue? CNBC's Melissa Francis attempts to answer this question, with rare access and revealing interviews with the energy debate's key players.

NA-YGN SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
by Jennifer Tobin
CALL FOR POSTERS!
The 10th Annual NA-YGN Drawing Contest is underway! Historically, the drawing contest has been one of NA-YGN's most successful activities; however there have been a limited number of requests for classroom presentation materials. Please take part in this great even and help to educate students on the benefits of nuclear science and technology. We are asking each chapter to visit at least one classroom. That alone could produce 1500 posters, which would match last year's submittals! The deadline to submit posters is Oct. 31, 2008.
What is the Drawing Contest?
NA-YGN members volunteer to give presentations at local schools to 4th and 5th grade students about the benefits of nuclear science and technology. The students are encouraged to create a drawing based on what they learned about during the presentation. The posters will be on display at the American Nuclear Society 2008 Winter Meeting. Winners will receive a USD Savings Bond, NA-YGN T-shirt and a collection of books on nuclear science for their school's library.
