NA-YGN Announcements:
1. Plans for the annual Southeast Regional Conference are well under way. The
conference will be hosted by Florida Power and Light and will be held at the Jupiter Beach
Resort in Jupiter Florida November 2-4. Registration will open soon and be accessible via
the new Southeast Region website:
www.se-ygn.org<http://www.se-ygn.org> The
Southeast Region will sponsor a beach clean-up along with Friends of Jupiter
Beach<http://friendsofjupiterbeach.com/>, a nonprofit organization, at the SE
regional conference on Friday, Nov. 4.
2. We need your help! The NA-YGN Benchmarking Committee is looking for volunteers
and a committee lead to help with a member survey. If interested, please email Kristin
Zaitz, vp@na-ygn.org<mailto:vp@na-ygn.org>
3. Please participate in a survey on improving communications about Japan -
Following the accident at Fukushima Daiichi this spring, we have all been engaged in
telling the story of our industry and the value we bring to our communities and the U.S.
We would like your insights from the conversations you have had - whether to an audience
of 50 or with your friends and neighbors - we'd like to learn what you've been
hearing. The nuclear industry will use this information to create products that nuclear
supporters like you can use to help the public better understand our industry and address
the issues that arise. Please take a few moments to complete the survey through the link
below. We'll report back about your input through the NA-YGN newsletter soon. Thank
you for all you do to support the nuclear industry in the U.S.
