3. NA-YGN has kicked off a new initiative called +One. This project is a joint
knowledge transfer and professional development initiative targeted at helping NA-YGN
members become engaged with the industry's technical decision making activities. The
first +One program with the Nuclear Energy Institute is ready to receive applications.

6. Save the Date for the 2011 NA-YGN Professional Development Conference! The 2011
NA-YGN PD Conference will be held from May 8 - 10, 2011 in Washington, DC. Please contact

volunteering. More information to come.
7. On October 13, 2010, the PD committee successfully sponsored a webinar on the
status of Yucca Mountain and over 200 NA-YGN members from our chapters far and wide
participated. The discussion covered the current political climate around the possible
fuel repository and contingency plans that are being looked and the legal climate that
exists for the utilities until the long awaited decision is made. I would like to thank
our speakers, Marshall Cohen of NEI and Vincent Zabielski of PSEG Nuclear for taking the
